For those of you who lives near ft.worth or arlington i was going down highway 30 west and all of the sudden a suv comes up behind me this is about 11 oclock at night and i was going around 75-80 and he was like on my rear tire, so i switched lanes and preceeded to go the same speed, then i realize its behind me again and this time i gradually speed up to 95 they proceed to keep up and then they started flashing lights at me so i was like wtf? so i blipped the throttle and hit 120+ before the dang suv had time to think,, and i wait a few exits and then take one, and then i pull into a gas station start filling up and ill be darned if i didnt see the suv out of the corner of my eye

but this time i realize it was an unmarked police suv thing(we have those here in texas along with like off road trucks) he pulls up to me and starts explaining how stupid i am for doing that, and i explain to him (IN AS NICE A WAY POSSIBLE HOW STUPID HE WAS FOR PULLING UP BEHIND ME LIKE THAT) i mean seriously those speeds in the middle of night, and like some lil bitty lights in the grill i had no idea it was a cop , he admited to wanting to pull me over to check my license and all that bull, so all and all , he knew he was wrong and didnt write me a ticket for my little stunt See !! funny

but i was scared as HEc at the time!!

While you may have gotten away unscathed, that LEO was seriously in the wrong for what he did. If you had had to brake suddenly to avoid something leaping in front of you, he would have smeared you all over his grill.
I would seriously consider reporting the officer to his superior for his dangerous and inconsiderate actions.

That is definitely dangerous and that cop was probably on a power trip thinking he could get away with that kind of shizz. Glad to hear you made it out fine.

What was his reason for wanting to pull you over in the first place?

Okay, so he wanted to check your license and registration... why? It sounds to me like he had no probable cause whatsoever. You should definitely report this incident. I'm not one of the anti-cop guys (I'm quite bacon friendly

) but this is some BS if it went down the way you're describing.

If that were the case, you gave him all he needed to do just that. I agree that he was definatly in the wrong for coming up behined you like that, but if he'd wanted to be a REAL jerk, you'd have gone to jail. I've seen plenty like that up around Chicago. If you aren't doing anything wrong, but you tick them off, they'll invent something. I'd say you were pretty lucky! Wish I had that kind of luck
