The weirdest thing ever just happened to me...

And I mean ever. My heart is pounding.

First off, a quick fact...I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend TODAY, which makes this even weirder. Now continue and see the oddities:

Since I'm nervous about proposing I couldn't sleep. So I got up to check my email, and while doing so I heard someone use the bathroom. Didn't think much of it. Then I thought I heard my door open...odd. Oh well, I kept writing the email. Then I heard and saw my covers move. Ok, NOW I am wondering what the heck is going on. Well, none of my lights are on, so I can't what it is, but there is DEFINATELY someone in my bed. I can see a shock of blonde looking hair...I don't have any blonde roommates. Whoever it is rolls over and wraps up in the covers. What the heck is going on? So I walk into the bathroom and turn the light on. I walk back into my bedroom and the person hasn't even noticed. So I shake lightly...nothing. I shake again...nothing. I walk around to the other side of the bed and see...it's a female. I shake one more time and she slowly opens her eyes. It's a girl...both my roommates are guys...why the CRAP is she in my bed? Realization suddenly sets in and she says "OH!" I'm like..."uhh, you're...sorta in my bed!" She chuckles, I chuckle...she looks extremely embarassed and sits up...sorta. Suddenly I realize...I don't think this girl is wearing anything! She's covering herself up with my covers. Umm...right. So somewhat sheepishly I turn around and leave the room. I hear rustling and then the door opening/closing. I return and she's gone.

Was she drunk or something? Just confused? I have no flipping idea. But I am SO glad I was not in bed when that happened...no telling what she'd have mistakenly tried. Definatly nothing good on the day that I planned on proposing...yikes.

Isn't that just like a woman, though? Spend half your life chasing them around and then when you're finally committed to one, the rest of them start trying to crawl into bed with you.

Dude, it's not like you were engaged yet! You could have thought about it as one last blessing before the committment!
