MOTORWAY RIDING

#1 Unread post by Trophy900 »

HI
Having recently passed my test my first ride down the motorway caused me a bit of problem.
Changing lanes,,, to move from inside to outside, do I countersteer, or push the right bar forward, or just lean the bike to the left,
any advice welcome

It depends on how fast you're going. If you're going slow, usually just turning the handle bar to turn will do. If you're going anything over 10mph, then countersteering is the way to go. Just treat changing lanes like cornering.
