Brakes

#1 Unread post by pacedawg »

I went out for a long ride today with a new helmet. Previously, I was wearing a full-face helmet. The new helmet is a half helmet. I could obviously hear a lot more with my ears uncovered. I noticed that when I squeezed thee front brake at higher speeds, I could hear what sounded like air coming out of a tube. Is this normal? It did not seem to affect the strength of the front brake. Like I said, I never noticed that sound with my old helmet on. Any ideas? Should I be concerned?

A good pair of earplugs will get rid of that annoying noise for you...

(sorry; I'm sure someone with a real answer will be along any minute)

hehe already answered in the other thread :D. for those who may not see the other thread its the air going in and out of the holes on the rotor cooling the brakes down :D.
