don't see why it couldn't. a small utility trailer and motorcycle aren't that much weight. Even my Chev Aveo with it's puny little I4 could do it.

wow really!?
YESSS!
time to save up money for a bike trailer.
my car is a V6 w/ a 2.5 liter engine but since it's a car.. i never thought it could handle a trailer until i saw this pic.
you confirming than even your I4 car can haul is even better news.

Those trailers are like $300.00 at TSC. If you park the bike right, the trailer will have ZERO tongue weight. I've picked up one of those trailers myself, so even with your bike on it it would weight no more than 800lbs.

cool, i smell road trips in my future.
but then again... my car only gets 18mpg. w/ the trailer... it'll be even lower.
oh well, i can't expect road trips to be cheap.

Jeez dude get your car fixed. an MX-6 should be getting better than 18mpg, even with the V6. Unless your flooring it all the time your MX-6 should be getting at least 25mpg or so.

you think it has problems?
i don't think it's stock when i bought it so maybe that's why, maybe the previous owner did some engine or exhaust mods.
i rarely push it anymore so maybe my mileage has improved. i never really checked it again.

You've never seen a car pulling a trailer before? You need to get out more....
Do yourself a favor and get the hitch installed on your car at a good hitch installation shop. It's not something you want to screw up, in any way, for any reason. That thing breaks loose, and you not only lose the bike, you are also responsible for the damage it causes, and your insurance WILL question your qualifications to install it yourself it has busted loose....
And you never questioned that your MX-6 only got 18 mph? I shouldn't be surprised.... but still....
I think you should take up hang gliding.... I bet you'd look ultra-super-cool doing
that
