Anybody want to get rich ?

#1 Unread post by xsyamahadg »

If you do, figure out a way to manufacture dipsticks for motorcycles that only have sight glasses and no dipstick to check the oil. Every V-Star on the road needs one. After you figure it out, sign me up for one. While you are at it, calibrate it so it can be used while on the side stand.

Dyin'? Boy, he can have this little life any time he wants to. Do ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, ol' timer. Let me know you're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it.

I just started a company called Biker Buddies. The product first due on the market won’t make me rich, but it will make every biker happy. No, it is not a blow up doll that can ride! Stay tuned.

The SVs have a glass peek hole. The first time I looked the bike was leaning on the kickstand, and the glass measured no oil. It freaked me out until I realized the bike had to be sitting upright......

I did the same thing with my first bike too.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

And you have to get down so low to see it, that the bike almost falls on top of you try and tilt it.

Two solutions: pick up a mirror with a telescopic handle at Sears or Auto Zone or use a piece of 2x4 under the stand to get the bike upright. Some kick stands may require slightly thicker or thinner shims to do the trick.

Why is the dipstick inconvenient on your bike? Mine just unscrews right at the top, takes 5 seconds to check at the gas station after filling the tank.

I'd kill for a dipstick on my transmission!

I miss my SV's sight glass, my new M109r has to warm up for 15 minutes, cool down for 3, then you can check the oil with the dipstick.....WTF MAN! 20mins to check my ooil?!?!?!

Under the how to check your oil paragraph in the manual it has a paragraph about why you should check it everyday.......

I'd be late for work if i did that everyday.

I also have to wait for mine to warm up. Its easy, I just check it when I get home from work! Engine is nice and toasty. If there had been any significant oil loss between the time I checked and the next time I fired it up, I would certainly notice the pool of oil on the ground.
