who cares about the lowlife ground employees.the top executives are just making sure their multi million dollar bonuses are not affected by these bottom feeders.

On the opposite end - I head of a company in Atlanta, whose employees were beginning to really suffer the affects of rising gas prices (as all commuters are). Instead of just ignoring their complaints, the company (a light manufacturing facility) did two things; one, they offer a shuttle service for $18/week, and two, they changed to a four-day work week so that employees could shave off an entire day of driving. The programs cost the employer absolutely nothing, and the employees are now spending an average of $60/month on commuting instead of up to $240/month. Some companies care - just not enough of them.

i saw that on the news here.think how much fuel could be saved if that was a nationwide practice.

my compnay should just pay me to stay home...think of how much gas money Id save then
