So i was looking in a mag today that you can sell anything in basically.. everythings used that is sold in there and brand new. but anyway i came across this article about 2 leather jackets 100 dollars each.. at first thought i figured it was harley jackets or something of the sort, so i didnt bother with it
about five minutes later i got bored and called the man and asked what kind of jackets they were.. he told me there was one that was a teknic and the other was a rocket. so i went over there.. the guy told me he spent 600 on the teknic jacket, its got mesh and kevlar and kevlar gloves came with it to. then i was looking at the rocket and i didnt know to much about it so i baught the teknic jacket for 100, with matching gloves.

Soo yeah i think that was a pretty good deal? ha

awesome man, i`m always good at finding deals. I never spend more than $4 on a T-shirt...good at finding deals? or just cheap...hah gotta save up for my dream bike somehow

I have never seen a teknic jacket over $300. Not saying you didnt get a good deal cause you did . My teknic jacket was $240. Gotta love the armor and the fact I can wear it without the liner down to 40 degrees and not feel cold . I dont know much about the gloves part cause well I bought $45 leather gloves also by teknic. I would say you got a perty good deal though .

Yeah I love finding good deals.. but how have you never seen a Teknic jacket over 600? If you go to there site and go under catalog there is a Rage jacket that's $599.99 but the guy said he orderd it out of a california mag. So he probably got ripped off. But I have never seen this kind of Teknic jacket.. has a vest you can take out and everything but yeah. Is that Rocket brand any good?

from what others have said yes but that is not me . I never went to teknics site only buy from my Honda Dealer. Mine has a liner that comes out . If it didnt it would be one friggen hot ride at even 50 degrees.

Ha yea, we have a honda dealer around here to. but it sucks, they dont have anything in there except a few cruisers and a couple dirt bikes, and helmets.

the liner that snaps inside.. whats it do? almost feels like nothing.
