The Adventure of selling a Bike

I brought a 82 Yamaha XZ550 Vision at the end of last season for a pretty good price. As an 18 Wheeler killed by 04 Z750.And I hate being without a bike. I did a few things to her and just gave her a spring service with the help of a couple of mates from this very site.So I put it in the AutoTrader and get no calls for the first week.I chap comes round last night puts a $50 Deposit down and says he is going to get the rest of the cash.He calls 10mins later and says he doesnt want it.So $50 for me.I then get a guy come round tonight and says he son may call with an offer. While this chap is looking round the bike another bloke calls and says he wants to have a look at the bike.Very convient I know.First goes away second bloke comes round while second bloke is looking the first bloke son calls and makes an offer not a bad offer but this is Calgary and old bikes are quite hard to find so I so no and tell him the min I would take for it.The second guy over hears that and and says Ill give you a $100 bucks deposit and give you the rest next week.So its semi sold $100 deposit and Bike still in my Garage so fingures crossed it should have a new home next week.Which is good because it is in the Bandits parking spot.

Perhaps, it will just keep you in beer money from all of the deposits...... At least you are covering the cost of advertising! Where did they see it advertised Matt? Did the Bowcycle thing work for you?
