Backrest for bad back

#1 Unread post by flw »

First I have a bad lower back.

Anyone have a suggestion for a online place that sells backrests made to be functional not just for looks?

I need 12 to 18 inches in support to really help.

Bike I want to buy is a Vulcan 750 2004 or buy new. Same seat design for current model and past 15 to 25 years, I believe.

Now I can only ride for about 2 hours total. I'd like to get that to 4 total as there are some cool rides in my area if I can get more distance out of my back/bike support.

I'm sure if you search around you can find something. If not you might talk to one of the smaller shops on the web and see if they'll do something custom for you.

Most of the Mustang backrests are height-adjustable as well. The pics in that link show them in the lowest position.
