ULTIMATE BEGINNERS BIKE.....or so it seems

#1 Unread post by stephen85858585 »

Kawasaki`s new Ninja 650R looks to be one of the best beginner bikes I`ve ever seen...It has plenty of power and performance with lots of atributes to make it quite beginner friendly, such as an easy riding position, low seat height, low weight, and the fact that its pretty small over all, about the size of a regular 400. Now i bet many people will disagree with me and with Kawasaki and say that it would not be a good beginner bike becuase its a 650 and that will produce a lot of power. But hey if you`re willing to ride responsibly and safely, then why not. I cant wait to get myself one of these hot bikes as my first ride. Check it out http://www.kawasaki.ca/street_touring/650R/ If i knew how to post a pic i would maybe someone else can do that for me

WEll its got many atributes of a good beginners ride...such as good manuverability, its very forgiving, low seat height, you sit upright a lot more than on supersports, its quite lightweight and compact...

It's a perfect beginners' bike. It has the sportbike look, but you sit bolt upright. It's also quite light and comfortable with a no-doubt linear power band from that parallel twin. I'd like to buy one to make into a Sport Tourer Lite.

How many places are you going to post this?

Personally I think it's a grey area bike along with the SV650. But ultimately the bike you ride is your choice, not ours.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
