Where do you mount your Smartrip or EZ-Pass on the bike?

If you're in Virginia or the Northeast with toll roads wou know what I'm talking about.
I have a smartrip but I have to pull it out of my pocket and hold it up. I haven't found a good place to mount it yet. I'm considering making a special pocket on a tank bag for it but I'm looking for ideas.
I've seen some riders with it in their pocket but so far that hasn't worked for me.

Toll? What is this 'Toll' you speak of?
Anyway, I don't know how easily those are picked up, but I have a clear plastic pocket on top my my tank bag. If you use a tank bag, that should be just as detectable as on the dash of a car.

I'll ask my dad where he keeps his. I know he has one on his car, but he's been driving his BMW almost every day since I took off with my stepmom's car (then she drove his and he took his BMW). And I know there's at toll to get anywhere fun up there.

In my area there's only one toll road the dulles toll road (which argueably the greenway isn't part of.. but in my mind it is) and you really don't need to use it unless you go somewhere that's not fun. Most paths to D.C. are toll free

I looked at this site, but I've not bought anything from them yet, since I don't think their mounting will fit on my handlebars.

Hmm...here they have tags that go inside a backpack...you could even put it in your pocket. Seems silly to mount it on the bike, as anyone could easily snag it (not to mention how UGLY they are...especially since now alot of toll authorities insist on covering their tags with their stupid logo, making sure its 100% visible). They used to have plain white here, but now they have incorporated advertising. I hate it on my car, I'd hate it even more on my bike.

do you guys really have problems with it in your pocket??? if it works through the windshield of a car a layer of leather shouldn't inhibit it from working, no?

The ones on the windows are different in design. Here the windshield tag and the MC tag is completely different...the MC tag is bulkier.

My EZ-Pass for my car works through the pocked of my Joe Rocket mesh jacket...
