Lucky7 Razor 200

#1 Unread post by RossP »

Has anyone ever seen or driven one of these? Are they junk? All I need is a starter bike and i will probably stay off of the interstate for a little while. Any info is appreciated.

i heard bad things about them.

they are poorly built form what i heard.

if you want... you should check out hyosung.

you might like their new GT250R.

plus, they're new to expoting here in the US but they've been around for a long time. they're a korean company.

some people here even had hyosungs and they said it's not bad.

Probably one of the chinese bikes flooding the market.

In general they have bad reputation, with the Government here considering applying heavier controls to the import trade because of them.

On the whole you'd be better with something a few years old and Japanese. At least you will be able to get spares - something not always guaranteed with chinese bikes.

Personally, I would avoid this company like I would avoid a crackwhore with AIDS and genital leprosy. They will make all kinds of promises about reliability and parts availability, but chances are, the bikes breakdown easily(cheaply made and poorly assembled) and parts are next to impossible to get.

If you can find someone who owns one, and they tell you parts are cheap and the warehouse is full and in the next town, then the bike might be worth it. I highly doubt anyone who owns one can tell you that, though.

Like Kal said, your money ahead buying a used Japanese bike. Even the worst japanese bike is 100X the machine that 'Lucky 7'(what kinda name is that for a bike anyway?) is, even now... and you can get parts for them.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
