I've wheelied before, not on purpose of course. The first time I was riding a little 80cc around my front yard and we made a small jump out of some junky wood, well I went off it and leaned back when I went off I guess so I popped a wheelie, scared the hell out of me but I kept on blazing around the house

i was careful w/ my previous 1K since i know it's very prone to wheelies.
but on the 600 and 750... they said you really have to try to wheelie it. they made a good job in keeping the front down, which is great since wheelies doesn't really help in both circuit and drag racing.
anyway... what caused the accidental wheelie?

wheelies are fun. VX, your 750 should wheelie like an allstar, you must weigh too much.

GIXXER 750 should power up wheelies no problem. 600s not so much, though I have no desire to do so.
Clutching up a wheelie can be done on any bike though.

to do a wheelie on the ninjette you must have SERIOUSLY messed up the clutch. (dont dump it at redline) because there is no way it wa a roll on.

I did a series of wheelies yesterday, it was fun. traffic, going about 5-12mph. just barely fast enough to stay in gear without the clutch at all. trying to keep it at around 7mph when the traffic went a little faster, so I could flow better and not slow down and crap, and a car was gonna try to pull out in front of me, well I didnt like that all too much for some reason (oh yeah, thats right, I'm american) so I twisted back a good deal, thinking at 2,000rpms it would make a bunch of noise and speed up enough to do the deal. Well all that it did, and suprisingly, the front came about 8-12" off the pavement, nothing scarey in the least, only 15mph at that point. Well, the car was watching anyways, cause suprisingly drivers are pretty good to riders in my area (burlington, VT) and wasnt being a jerk and stopped. but I liked that I could do what I had just done, cause, well, honestly, I really didnt think it would do it, I've only wheelied it a couple times, and usually had to have the RPMs up fairly high and shifting or really trying for power wheelies. I dont do clutch wheelies, probably wont. Anyways I totally squided it up a little bit after that, backing off when the cars would flow forward, and then pull a mini-powerwheely. it wasnt so bad that I was really delaying anyone, they got to the light just as fast as they would have otherwise, but it was more fun for me this way
