Leaky Forks

I pulled my front forks off my bike because they leak oil, and I don't have the right tools to take the forks apart. I called the dealership and they said it'd be $180 for the labor if I brought the forks in. Does this seem reasonable? How much should I pay?

Half that fee is probably for the waste disposal fee for the old fork oil ... Kalifornia... sigh...
All you need to take the forks apart is probably a long T-handle type of jobby with a hex-head socket on it, and maybe a bench vise. Can't you borrow the tools?

Yeah what tech said. The hardest part is normally taking off that hidden allen bolt at the bottom of the fork. you need to put the fork leg in a vise, put the allen wrench in, pound the wrench with a hammer a bit to loosen things and then loosen the allen wrench out. I haven't done it yet on mine, but the service manual details the steps very clearly.
