First hour long ride made to class!

So today was the first day I took my Ninja 250 to Brooklyn which is about an hour ride for me. Today, the entire highway was blocked off because a car had an accident but luckily for me, I had my bike lane splitting and I was able to get up close and personal to the accident which helped alleviate about an hour off my ride had I taken my car. It was a really good feeling to know that I wouldn't have missed class but man, after the ride back home, the sides of my head was killing me. I guess I don't have a shoei type of head, mebbe I should go Arai =\ Oh and also, I never knew how bumpy the rodes were until I took my motorcycle there =\.

Better keep a close eye out when lane splitting. Unless there's a Brooklyn in California, it's not legal in your state.

If it wre me, I'd have been ok to miss class because of the accident
But glad you had a nice ride out.
Definitely be careful lane splitting as far as laws go.

Sounds like your helmets to small.

helmet is either too small or you haven't worn it for 20+ hours. It takes time for the foam to start to "pack in" and fit to your head, after a while of wearing it, it "should" feel better.

I think it's just too small. I've ridden with the helmet for a while now but only the temple's of my head hurt after about 45 mins into a ride. Also, quick question. When you guys ride, does it sort of constrict the blood flow to your hands by any chance? I noticed that after a ride to and from school, my hands would appear rather blueish in color and maybe it's just me? Oh, and this is a stupid question but everyone's seat of their motorcycle is suppose to get warm during along ride right? loll and we're not talking about a fart in the seat kinda warmth but a good heating up of if you will =\ but damn I have to admit, I luv riding to and from school. Parking is so much damn easier and traffic is a breeze =D

California isn't the only state that lane splitting isn't illegal to do. It might be the only to specifically say it is legal though.

What other states allow it then?
