Just got the bike, love it, but the battery died, and I am having trouble figuring out how to get to the damn battery. I was able to get the side panels off but that didnt help, I need to get off the front seat. If anyone has one and can let me know, i am sure its really easy, I didnt get a manual with it when I bought it used.

Thanks,
Tim

Seats on a Suzuki

When we had our Blvd S40, the seat was a real pain to remove, and it did have to come off to get to the battery properly.

If I remember correctly (one piece seat, by the way) there was a screw on the rear of the seat connected to the fender. To remove the whole seat, there were two bolts under the riders seat. They stick out at a weird angle, and there are more than just the two - but only two removed the seat. These connect to the frame. The other bolts were part of the seat support. Removing them by accident was not a problem. Pic below.

I believe they were 11mm bolts, and an extention on a ratchet was needed. I could not get to them with a normal wrench.

The Marauder has a two-piece seat, correct? It is possible you will have to remove the rear seat to remove the front.
