Philips Lumalive fabric - neat tech!

While this isn't on motorcycle gear - I'm not sure which is the most apt forum for this.
Philips has just done a big press release on their new textile that has LED diodes embedded in the fabric. There's an article and video displaying it here: http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech ... s-lumalive
I really hope that something like this can be integrated into safety gear - I think it'd be great for visibility purposes!
On the up/downside depending on which side of the fence you're on.if you could control it with voice activation...you could also communicate your feelings to those tail gaiters behind you..
