Hey I live in Ontario Canada and I was wondering how hard would it be to make a dirt bike street legal, maybe like a motocross style. Do you think I would be able to get a two stroke legal for the street, or would i have to stick to a four stroke. What would i need to do to the bike

There's a reason why 2-strokers have disappeared from the road - emissions.
Wiring all those lights and blinkers are a real pain.
It'd be a fun project, but finanically, you'll take a loss. It's cheaper to get a dualsport 4 stroke and get it done with.

so you`d say there is pretty much zero chance of gettin a 2 stroke on the road?

I'd say that you'd have trouble passing emissions regardless what you did to it.
The dirtiest of four-strokes will beat out the cleanest burning two-stroke.
As for getting all the lights wired up, it's not only tedious - you're likely to not wire it well enough to make it as reliable as factory wiring.

they do not e test bikes up here. It is really expensive and a PITA to make a mx bike street legal, if you want something like that I belive the kdx has provisions for wiring

mostly the wiring for the lights and you may have to mess with the alternator if it has one battery if it has one, just little stuff like that, I am not saying it can not be done but it is time consuming and you will have to figure things out on your own, If you are lucky search teh internet and see if you can pick up a dualsport conversion kit for your bike. What kind of bike is it?

2 Strokes can be made road legal in Ontario, many do it. It can be expensive. I'm assuming its a MX bike? They don't make good trail bikes. They are geared too high, have no low-end grunt for hill climbs.
But, if you want answers, check out the ODSC - Ontario Dual Sport Club:

Or, do like I did and get a KTM 2T!
