ipod Pop-up

Lately I've been getting a pop-up from the following:
http://ipods.freepay.com/Default.aspx?N=1&P=186

It shows up every time I visit, sometimes 2-3 times. I've read the pop-up/pop-under Sticky and it's a pop-up not a pop-under. Anybody else have this problem?
Also, it only appears when I'm visiting the TMW forums. It's never appeared on any other web page.

I'll do what I can to get rid of it. Is it just that it's a popup or is it offensive; I see you rope a bull, but I don't see it being annoying?? They rope bulls in the rodeo here, it's actually something really neat to see. :D

Update: Ok, I've wrote the advertiser and asked for them to disable that ad from running on Total Motorcycle.

Thanks Mike for looking after it.
In answer to your question, it's just a pop-up and somewhat annoying but not offensive. I would close the window only to have it pop up again. However according to your Sticky, TMW does not run pop-ups so I reported it.

Not a problem about reporting it at all. I couldn't block just that one ad so I had to block the WHOLE advertiser and all their ads unfortunately, which was about 25 ads. (revenue ouch). But if it wasn't for visitors then advertisers wouldn't matter! LOL.

I do notice that there are some popups on occasion, so I can no longer say 100% no popups, but I do try to use 100% popunders when I get the choice. :D

Geez Mike, didn't mean to cost you money, guess I'll have to ante up and become a Site Supporter! :)
This forum is terrific + I understand you need revenue to keep it running. I don't have a problem with pop-unders or the odd pop-up but this one did not want to go away.
May I suggest you edit your Sticky regarding pop-ups to show the possibility of getting some.
Keep up the good work and thanks again!

Unline any other big site I know out there, I'll remove ads anytime a member finds them over agressive, offensive or causes them to not want to come to Total Motorcycle. It is a revenue loss, this one was a bigger hit than I'd normally take for the removal of an ad, but in the end, it is worth it to keep members and visitors happy. I of course can't remove all ads, but I do try my best to remove what it suggested. :D

I'll update the sticky as you never know when a popup might come up and I should mention that it's not 100% no popups, maybe 98%? :D

I'd love to have more site supporters to off-set loss of ad revenue but I do not expect any member to be one, but if they do decide to support the site it's much appreciated and it goes to a great and worthwhile cause. walloffame.htm

Always a good move, and it really does cost peanuts all things considered...

I had a blonde moment with one of the adverts a couple of weeks ago - the damn thing was harrassing me so I couldn't do anything here!

Spoke to Mike, Mike sorted - no problem.

A few days later I discovered that my date/time was set wrong on my computer and that had been what was setting the popup off!

Always willing to help out and be there, in fact, I'm here full time, all day long all week so you get full time tech support too at no cost! :D I don't get paid a wage or salary, my pay is what's left from the ads (ad revenue) you see. :D

But I'd do the job for free as helping others is always a worthwhile use of time. :D

Ummmmmmm.... Peanuts, you mean the roasted ones in the shell? :D Now I feel like peanuts! Thanks Kal! LOL

Zel (or anyone else reading this) would like to help out the site and become a site supporter it's much appreciated, every $1 goes to the site, keeping it up, keeping my alive (via Mr. Noodles) and keeping the ads down... but more importantly it supports motorcycling and motorcyclists via Total Motorcycle around the world!! :D

Many, many thanks to all who are and have been site supporters in the past and also to those considering becoming one in the future. I owe you all a debt of gratitude.

Mike, if you feel you are like peanuts you really ought to start taking it easy and possibly see a Doctor...
