I've had this dream dormant for 20+ yrs (I'm 36) until a friend got a bike last year and re-ignited the fire! Just got a Suzuki Boulevard M50 (3 days ago) and will start the classes on May 4th.
My wife says that I look 20 yrs younger with my newly drawn smile, my daughter thinks I look cute :), and I think I am just loving it...
Thanks for providing this great forum, and thanks to all of the participants, it's great to join the crowd.
Looking forward to learning from you all...

Welcome! I, too, hail from the west side of the state. I'm just on a four year hiatus to get a degree. :)

Hope you find some nice roads around Issaquah, I'm sure there are some decent ones. You might want to look in to Chuckanut Loop, quite scenic!

I just joined the forum so I'm new at this but not new to riding. I started riding in 1968. I never kept track but I probably have ridden about 200,000 miles. The year I started riding I thought I was getting good. I had a Honda super hawk and could scrape metel on every turn. Then I went down, hit the blacktop at 60 mph with no helmet. Best education I ever recieved. Now after 36 years of riding I never think I'm good. I can relax and ride all day but always stay alert.

It's great to see new people enjoying riding.

Hi AD, It does make you feel younger when riding the bike and as our kids put it "Dad your not so grumpy now" that was 20yrs ago when we got a bike after a long break. Still grinning now AD  Welcome to this friendly site. Enjoy the ride!

Welcome AD. I'm another 'recently returned biker' in Seattle. Keep the rubber side down.
