Suzuki GS500f.Got it for my 16th birthday. Ive had it a month now 1050 miles and still climbing. Its a fun little bike and great for a first bike. Never had any problems beyond my lack of experience. The only thing i dont like about it is it has no aftermarket parts for it out there which means it has to stay stock. But i can still enjoy riding it until I can handle the bigger street bikes. Leave some feedback, please![/url]

looks like a great bike. Not my style, but it looks like it fits you well.

Stay safe on the roads and always remember to look ahead

Nice dude. Must be nice to get a bike for a B-day especially at such a young age.

Stay safe and have fun 8)

huh? what do you need that for? The only aftermarket parts I put on my bike are frame sliders and swingarm sliders. I will not replace a perfectly good exhaust or whatever even if aftermarket one is "better". Enjoy what you got. GS500F is a great starter bike and keeps its value well.

Lucky bastage. AT 16 my parents gave me the right to drive. The car, though? I wish.

Enjoy it, and when you're done with it sell it to me.

Great bike! Have you considered taking the MSF course or something similar? I would really recommend it.

Be safe and invest in some good gear.

aftermarket parts:

-stg III carb kit
-exhaust
-higher flowing intake filter

you gain a noticable amount of higher end pull. at least these upgrades are available for my 98 gs500e :)

congrats, keep the rubber side down

Nice bike but...if I was given a bike on my 16th Birthday, I'd be smiling in my photo! :D
