I discovered these Imported Turbulator for 30-34mm Carbs on the bing.com that state they promote better turbulence and they’re for better combustion. There cheap, I just might try them.

Anyone know if there effective?

I doubt they will give you much if any gain. I doubt they will hurt the power either, so......

I've never understood these gadgets. I remember a few years ago when some huckster on TV was selling them for cars. If you put one in your intake, you'd get an extra 20 hp and 80 mpg.

We use vortex generators on airplanes, but on the outside. They help keep the flow of air from separating from the wing at lower speeds. They do not generate "turbulence" It's actually more like the opposite.

When I think of all the money that racers spend to smooth the flow of air through their intake systems, I have a hard time imagining the usefulness of a device that churns up your intake air.

There is not much in after market performance parts for my old bike. The non-traditional engine style is more of a hindrance.

Is it worth trying to install larger carbs if I can’t find other typical performance parts like exhaust pipes and cam shafts?

What they do is create small vortices that make the rest of the air/water/whatever can slide over the small disturbances easily. They use them on different kinds of fins for freediving and floatboat propulsion. I'd tend to say they work fairly well, as I have them on my floatboat fins, and it's easier to stay the same speed than my old fins.

These things do not work. they are a joke. If you want to block up the intake go right ahead.
