My ride today....

So much for the forecasted rain.....I worked about four hours this morning, then had the rest of the day free, so I adjusted my chain, donned my gear and hit the road. I didn't really have any specific destination in mind, just started picking random backroads.

Then I passed by a friend who was also out enjoying the weather, so we joined up and rode about 80 miles together, stopping in the middle to shoot the breeze a bit over some iced tea.

This area of California has a wide variety of roads to ride, and we found them all. Here are a few pics of todays ride:

They are a blast. We went back and forth a few times. Rarely any other traffic on that road. 8)

That is beautiful... Makes me miss parts of California... (Although I lived in SoCal, so I really dont miss it all that much).

Well Barmy, you and Keyoke just crate up your bikes, and hop a plane. Should be about a 24 hour flight, and you'll be in sunny California. I'll show you around!

Chris, the one on the right is my 84 Yamaha FJ 600, and the other one is a 2000 Triumph TT 600. You and your dad come on out to CA for a visit, and I'll take you on that curve, and hundereds of others just as good. :D
