Gearing

I was gonna shorten gears 1-4 on both my bikes (yamaha 04 R1 on the way) , and make the sixth gear longer , But my question is what should i do about Fifth gear??

Usually people just change sprockets... it is cheaper.

How fast do you really want to go??

Your theoretical top speed stock is 189 based on your gearing.

You have PLENTY of top end speed to spare.

Try this gearing calculator thing. Pick your bike from the drop down menu, and hit "Load Preset", be sure to change the speed to mph.

And yeah, and you don't need the bike to be capable of warp nine...

I want to have a faster take off, and a higher top end speed, thats why i wanted to change the gearings,, hey sev wheres the caculator thing??!?

You seriously telling me that 189mph is NOT fast enough for you???
