the big 4 have pretty close performance specs. it's not gonna be an issue on the bike... it will depend on the rider.

so you should just consider which ergos and which design works for you.

There is no best really. They're all pretty much on par with each other performance wise. You could nitpick over which one was lighter by a pound or so, but essentially it comes down to what you want in ergonomics and looks.

Lol, I was gonna say... Didn't you just get a 250? Oh well though, like the others say, they are all about the same, although personally I really like the Gixxer...

heres what you should do... Bike Magazine - has some of the best write ups on the best 600 CC bike. It was an issue from either september or august.. but it was real good.

I'll be shocked if you do. As for the 600's go sit on them, as Verm says theres sodall difference between them - certainly not a difference that most riders on the street would be able to notice.

How long does an avarage person takes to grow out of 250?

I feel ready for a 600 now ( just kiding  )

my friend's first bike was a 600, 2006 ninja 636 to be exact. He droped it once. but has been riding for close to 7 months now.. and he said he got used to it real quick ( but he dropped it  .. i know)

anyways he and many others say if you start on a 250 you will grow out so fast... (though I might still keep the ninja250.. unless i am short on money for the next bike.. because its a fun bike to ride on)

yes, definitely keep the 250. use it for commuting. then use your RR bike for canyons and trackdays.
