Hello everybody.
I'm French, 23 years old and I live near from Crystal Palace (Upper Norwood). I have been in England for 2 months. I'm "au pair". I look after a child.
I have got a Suzuki 600 Bandit. I don't know if this name is correct here but it is in France. Unfortunatly my dear motorbike is waiting for me in France
Sorry for my bad english. I'm learning...

Welcome - and you write just fine in English. Also the Bandit 600 is known pretty well throughout the world. About your "au pair" work, how long do you typically do an assignment to a family?

Firstly thanks for the compliment. But to speak (for speaking?) it's not so easy for me (and other people). It's hard to understand very well.
In general it's not less for 2 or 3 months and until 1 year. I'm here probably for 5 or 6 months. The period is determinated by the familiy and/or the "au pair".

Hi. Unfortunatly not. I will go back in France probably on the end of July. And after if I can, I will go to Australia for 1 year. So I'm thinking if I sell my Bandit or not...

Hiya French, if you sell your bike you will miss it............like mad. Its a pity you cant get a bike for the country you're in, and one year in Australia you gotta have a bike, perfect weather for riding. If you sell the Bandit, use the money to get a bike in Australia.........what do ya think? We've just been out for a little ride and I'm grinning from ear to ear

Good luck French whatever you decide

You know what ? It's not a bad idea but an "au pair" earns a few money. About 50-60£ per week. I will think about that.

Bienvenue French Jackass. Je n'ai pas parler francais depuis 1990. J'espere que je n'ai pas oublier toute le monde. Bon sejour en England...
If you're laughing at me, I learned how to speak french from illiterate farmers in Africa so I have a small excuse for butchering your language so badly. Ah, forget it, you're english is better than my french. Welcome to the forum.
