The bike racing season should reach a thrilling climax this weekend with all three major titles up for grabs on the final day of the season.

The fate of the Super Scooter title is in the balance with just four points separating new leader Ed Cook, Devon 'Red' Bailey and John Cook in the top three positions.

The Superbikes and GP 125s are similarly well poised and with three heats scheduled in each class, some highly competitive racing is expected.

There will also be demos from two stunt riders Jason Britton and Jessica Maine, who have been brought in by sponsor Francis Construction, and a fundraiser for GP 125 rider Kyle Pimentel who is suffering from cancer.

Superbikes: It's a dead heat in the standings between Marvin Robinson and David Jones. These two have been battling it out all season and it's fitting that this championship goes right down to the wire.

Paul DeCouto is in third, but way behind on points, and this one's all about which one of Jones and Robinson performs on the day. Standings: David Jones Sr 471, Marvin Robinson 471, Paul Decouto 270, Stephen Paynter 266, Carlos Francis 229.

GP 125: Defending champion Cyril Whitter III has it all to do on the final day if he's to stop Shannon Caisey reclaiming his title.

Firefighter Caisey has led for most of the season but Whitter has an outside chance of catching him on the final day.

The student, who comfortably won this title last year, needs to pick up some wins and hope Caisey slips up.

Both will be looking over their shoulder at young Toriano Wilson, 13, who has had an amazing first season at this level and picked up his first win last weekend.

Standings: Shannon Caisey 466, Cyril Whitter III 448, Jevaughn Simons 400, Toriano Wilson 347, Leroy Trott 255.

Super Scooters: Consistently this is the most competitive class. The Cook brothers and 'Red' Bailey have again been thrilling the Southside crowds with their three-way battle for honours.

Ed Cook's got the edge at the moment, but just barely and all three go into the final day with realistic expectations of victory.

Standings: Ed Cook 478, Devon Bailey 475, John Cook 474 Ricky Pereria 274, Jonathan Cabral 270

Leaders in the rest of the classes going into the final day are: Mini GP 80: Keanu Wilson 491; Stock Modified: Bruce Degrilla 539; Mini-Bike Open Class: Andrew Decosta 437; Mini Bike Junior Class: Zain Philpott 521.
