hello to all,
i am a former rider but i had a stroke in 2000 and can’t ride my honda (cb 450sc nighthawk) anymore. i was hoping someone could tell me the sequence for shifting the bike (1 up, 2 down, where neutral is etc). my son rolled the bike out of our garage with no problem for two guys to look at (potential buyer) they rolled it back into the garage. but now i think it’s stuck in gear because we cannot move it.
appreciate any info someone could provide.
it’s taken me 5 yrs to finally decide to sell (hard thing to give up).
thanks, alf

Like he said, welcome to the forum! Also, very sorry to hear about the stroke... They can sure affect lives (my grandmother can testify to that one). But just wanted to reinforce that 1 down 4 up from neutral. I know the modern nighthawks do have that shifting sequence, so the 80s models should as well... Anyway, I'm sure it's ahrd for you to sell, but stay strong and move on, it'll be better for you in the long run... Again, sorry, and good luck!
