Two lucky winners of the "Harley-Davidson in the Movies" sweepstakes each won a new 2007 Special Edition V-Rod motorcycle as part of a national retail promotion supporting the appearance of the Harley-Davidson V-Rod motorcycle in the summer blockbuster, "X-Men: The Last Stand." The motorcycles, replicas of the bike used in the movie, were awarded to Kristopher Avant from Yukon, Okla. and Evelyn Almada-Stillwell from Windsor, Calif., who received their new motorcycles in September from Myers-Duren Harley-Davidson in Tulsa, Okla. and Golden Gate Harley-Davidson in Corte Madera, Calif., respectively.
Evelyn Almada-Stillwell at Golden Gate Harley-Davidson
There were nearly 41,000 entries in the sweepstakes, which was part of the Harley-Davidson in the Movies national promotion this past May in dealerships across the U.S. The promotion also included an exclusive DVD of Harley-Davidson movie moments for dealership play, free "X-Men" movie passes in exchange for a demo ride and the option for dealers to promote their dealerships in local movie theaters where the movie was shown.
