The Corning Community College International Club is hosting a series of foreign films, starting with the 2004 Spanish language movie, "The Motorcycle Diaries," at 7 p.m. today in the Triangle Lounge in the Commons at Corning Community College.

The film stars Gael Garc(hearts)a Bernal as a young Che Guevara, who led the Cuban Revolution. The film is an adaptation of a journal Guevara kept while crossing South America with a friend.

It's a great film about how a man who changed the world was changed by this coming-of-age adventure.

Learn more about the film at www.imdb.com, then join the International Club for this free showing.

•Also: Celebrate Halloween with a twist at Recycle-Ween from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Rural Urban Center, 208 Broadway in Montour Falls.

Brainstorm a costume using as many recycled items as you can and win a prize. There will also be treats, crafts and ghoulish games.

The festivities are open to all ages. Advance registration is appreciated and may be made by calling 607/535-7161.
