Riding partner troubles!!!

All My freinds have been riding for a few years now and i have only been riding for about 2 months now. They have a 2006 R1 and a 2006 GSXR 1000....I am riding a:motorcycle3: 2007 GSXR 600.
My problem is that they are so much more experienced comapered to me that it seems like i am just holding them back...when we ride on the highway they take off going like 140mph and up....and i stay around 110 tops becuase i am still nervous
and not comfortable yet...should i just not ride with them....or just ride like i am and just mke them have to wait up for me all the time???
I jsut dont know....

just ride at your own pace. they're not gonna pay for damages if you mess up trying to keep up w/ them.
if they're good riding buddies... they'll wait for you at some point and not put pressure on you.
if they pressure you on going faster than what you're comfortable with... then stop riding w/ them.

i think so far, it sounds like a recipe for disaster in almost every way.

Well, I have to say, if you're doing at least 35 over the limit, your license is gone, no problem. I say you have learned to ride just fine already, I'd learn to corner better if anything. Also, if they don't wait up for you, leave them, they're useless to you...

notice how i didn't care that they were doing 100+ mph.

+1 I think they need to look over why they bought a motorcycle, what they look for in friends, and what they want out in life.

I would stay away from these folks while on your bike.
Maybe try and integrate yourself into some local bike club thats a bit more.....er sightseer friendly for a bit.
In all honesty, your friends sound like some serious sealife to me. As verm says, they arent going to pay for your medical bills, or your bike when you crack up. And IMHO, an expernced rider, who rides like a squid while with an unexperienced friend...is a total doofus.
Kinda like handing a monkey a loaded pistol. Not that i'm calling you a monkey.
Have you taken the MSF? Had any formal training? Might want to put the brakes on and have a look at that too.
