yamaha v-star 1100 classic valve adjusting

just hit the 500+ mile mark, and the ticking has just increased majorly, anyone have a site with step by step on valve adjusting, for the v-star 1100 classic, or general cost for the maitence?

What year?????????? I can tell you how to do it, but I wont be able to tell you the gap size without the year. If you have done valves before its a roccker arm system. The very easy one to adjust.

The valve spec is .003 - .005" intake and .005 - .007" exhaust. Sorry, too lazy to type an instruction manual for you.
