Motorcycle poker run will aid council's special-needs shelter

The Osceola County Council on Aging is sponsoring a motorcycle poker run to raise funds for the Barney E. Veal Center for All Generations special-needs shelter Nov. 5. Registration is at St. Cloud Lakefront from 8 to 10 a.m., and start is at 10 a.m. The more-than-50-mile ride will end at East Lake Fish Camp. Cost: $25.
