That's not a burn out. That's boiling off some rubber softening chemical... most likely bleach.

Burnouts are childish, bad for the ozone layer, and FUN! :twisted:

I always give old rear tires a sendoff by giving them a nice healthy burnout. I wouldn't waste tread unless I was about to replace the tire though...

Boy, was I ever a naive misled soul to think tires were for propelling one's vehicle towards their destination, as opposed to making large amounts of smoke.
