I just bought my first bike! New 2006 Suzuki SV650S. 'Blue' (Teal). I walked out of the door with the price of $6047. I thought i got a decent deal. Tax and title were just over $400, so the bike itself cost me $5600. I was pleased. It gets delivered (for free... about a 75 mile drive) to me on Tuesday evening. I'm extremely excited.

I have my jacket and helmet, but i need to get gloves , boots, and some textile over-pants.

Finally! lol, that took a LOT of coaxing of the wife to finally get to this point!

I'll have more info tomorrow and pics tuesday or wednesday (depending on the ability to get pictures taken)...

WOOHOO! lol

Congratulations. Happy Bike Day and all that good stuff. Great Price. Was just looking at the 650 this weekend. Here the are talking 5400 for the regular 650. Talk me into getting that instead of a cruiser. Also, let me know what your insurance costs are. How did you talk them into the delivery? The blue is really nice!!!

My dad is good friends with the manager of the dealership... He lives like 15 miles from me (has to commute an hour to and from work each day), so he is just gonna grab the dealership's enclosed trailer and bring it home for me. Free delivery . It works out pretty good.

Happy bike day! Excellent choice, you're gonna love it! Been ringing the neck of mine since I bought it and love every minute of it! Be sure to post pics when you get it home.
