Riding in Aussie

Hi Y'all,
Although i'm actually Canadian, I'm a student in Australia for one more year at least.
I've just bought a YamahaVX535 and am looking to ride around (no, not ALL the way around) the country for the summer (dec-feb).
If anyone wants to join me for some trips, I'm up for anything (except gravel), super easy-going to travel with, but on a bit of a budget...
Let me know (e-mail or post a reply) if you're interested or if you've got some great ideas!

Where abouts in Australia do you plan on riding?

hmmm... still trying to decide.

right now i'm in Brisbane, and i think it might be a little optimistic to expect to make it all the way to Perth, but i'd love to do Tasmania, and the Great Ocean Road, there are lots of options...

so i'm thinking about heading north for a few weeks, then planning to be in Sydney for Christmas...

but i'm flexible. if i meet someone going somewhere else i'm down for the cause.

Well let me know when you reach Sydney as I can show you some very nice roads that we have in this part of the world.
