You Guys have it all together!
Great Pictures!
How did you like riding in SAND?
I'm not a big fan of the stuff myself.

Thanks Ozzy, liked riding in the sand however didn’t like the following things:
Too many round thorns which gets stuck to cloths and cause a lot of irritation. My bike didn’t like my weight in that soft sand, result too much wear and tear of the chain which eventually broke a week after the ride and sadly this chain had hardly completed half its expected life.

Those are some awesome pics man, that must have been a really sweet trip. Having rode dirtbikes for a few years, I have found sand is fun but it destroyes everything, if you go riding in it again use WD-40 on your chain instead of grease and then make sure you wash it out really well. It seems to help a little bit with the wear.

Great pictures, it looks like a good time was had by all. Maybe I'll make it there one day. Your post has given me another possible destination.
Now that I'm retired but still young enough to expand my Adventure Touring to countries outside of North America I will be traveling, hopefully to many other parts of the world.

oldschoolorange I normally use 90w oil to lubricate my motorcycles chain, tried wd40 once but wasn’t that much impressed with it. Also my motorcycle has a chain cover which blocks out most of the sand and dirt. But will give it shot, maybe it will help
thanks Rydr and Loonette
