Here are some small accessories that I've got that make my riding a bit more enjoyable.

A lot of people have a Camelbak. I have a Nalgene Hydration Pack. Here is this year's model of the pack I have http://www.nalgene-outdoor.com/store/su ... rycode=602 Mine's maroon, I wish it was blue like my riding gear though. The new bite valves are REALLY awesome, the old ones are GREAT in that they NEVER LEAK but...they're a PITA to get water out sometimes!

I was given a Pak-Light flashlight http://www.9voltlight.com/inc/sdetail/61 It's literally a 9 volt battery with a cap on top that lights up like all get out. It's pretty handy, but I rarely have it on my bike...oops.

I need to get another one of these, because I lost mine when I changed out my visor on my helmet...but the http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products/pr ... sp?Item=SB Helmet Sunblocker is AWESOME (and CycleGadgets is a great online retailer)

I'll say

My helmet came with a quick clip similar to that. It makes doing my strap with a gloved hand easy.

My Nolan came with this but it is much better made. It is a nice thing to have as it takes me all of 2 seconds to buckle it and remove it with gloved hands.

Why would you need to take your helmet off and not your gloves?

I have one, its great.
minty, I put my gloves into my helmet when I take them off, this makes it so i dont have to hold the gloves with my armpit while using my hands to deal with the strap. I can take the helmet strap off and then take glloves off, hold gloves with one hand, pull off helmet and put gloves in helmet. Its also good to keep the same tension on the strap each time and not wear on the webbing by rubbing it over the rings each time.
or you could just call us quick clip users lazy and uncommited to motorcycling if you like

I guess I'm old fashioned. I like the D rings. I just don't trust the clips.

The sun blocker can be approximated with a few strips of electrical tape across the top of the shield. Then just tip your head slightly when needed.

Or if you're mentally challenged llike I am, you have to put the gloves on before the helmet because I need my teeth to put the gloves on

As for the Drings, they are present on both sides. Just loop the extra strap through the second ring.
