Mission: in-town commuting, from stop-and-go traffic to crosstown freeways.

Planned mods:

15 or 16-T countershaft sprocket. Google turns up many references that claim fit with stock chain, less engine vibration, improved economy, more comfort, but I can not find a source. I'd prefer a bigger drive sprocket to a smaller driven sprocket to extend chain life.

Luggage racks. Yamaha accessory rack is kind of puny. Cycleracks are huge. Anything in between? I'm thinking a rear rack with enough box to stash a rainsuit and gloves, with the occasional unassembled R/C airplane model kit bungied on top. Maybe a set of detachable saddlebags for grocery shopping. 4-inch PVC pipe toolbox on frame down tube.

Exhaust. Something tuned for mid-range, not too loud. Rejetting if necessary. I've found references to a Jardine pipe, bit unable to locate a source. I guess i'll have to design one if none turns up, which really isn't a problem since I still have the engineering formulas from my race bike days.

Intake. Airbox/filter mods to pick up free torque.

Auxilary lighting. Already have integrated LED stop/tail/turn/bu to mount under rack. Suggestions for headlight/driving upgrade (already has 55/60w halogen). Anyone know alternator output--can't seem to find it with google and I need the info to plan electrical loads.

Horn. Matched pair high-low 132db automotive electrics with relay.

Battery. Mine is a new OEM replacement, but seems kind of small.

Tires. Anything a little more street oriented available?
