Hi, I am taking my MSF class next weekend. I have never ridden a bike before.
I am looking a used cruiser.. something along the lines of a mid 90's to 00 Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, etc around 750-900 cc.
The problem is that I am 6'4" 230 lbs. The height seems to be an issue.
I have sat on various new bikes, and I realize highway pegs will be necessary for comfort.
Is there a particular make that is better for taller riders? Can somethign be done with seats, etc to make it more tall person friendly?
Thank you!
Bike for tall people?

I'm two inches shorter, 50 lbs heavier, and my Volusia works great. The only things I would do to it are get forward controls and a different seat, either a Mustang or a Corbin. But stock it works pretty well for me. As for price, my 01 set me back about 3200, plus of course the gear to go with it! Good luck!

Before highway pegs
Before you go to highway pegs which offer no control, no brake and no shifter consider gettingforward controls.
