Passenger on a sports bike?

Im wondering what to do if I want to take a passenger on my bike. I know there is a saddle seat but is there a place to put your legs if your a passenger? I wanna surprise my girl by taking her for a ride once in a while. Would she feel safe? Or is even secure riding on the back of the bike or do I need to get a better seat and a back rest from corbin or somethin like that? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
PS After reading the topic about 600cc bikes not a good beginner bike im going to reconsider my options about the gsxr. It looks so cool and the thought of 0-60 in nearly 3 seconds makes me drool, but I am a beginner and I dont need to be stupid.

If you have a passenger seat you should also have passenger pegs. If not do not put her on there. You should get some miles under you before you even think about a passenger.
On most of the newer sport bikes, the passenger accommodations are uncomfortable at best and may require your girl to be a contortionist to even try to get comfy. Long rides can be a pain for her literally.
Definitely reconsider the GSXR for a first bike. Great bikes but not to learn on.

Not only that, but if you plan to have the gf as a passenger a lot of the time, the gsxr is not the way to maintain peace. If you make her ride back there on it for very long, she will likely hate you eventually.

I've heard they can be very un comfortable, but it just kinda hit me. Riding as a passenger on a sports bike is exactly like riding in the back of the bus you bounce up and down alot more than u normally would at the front. Plus the stock saddle look very hard.
So i think i might invest in one of these.

Anybody own one? I don't know if what they claim is true but they do look more comfortable than stock.
A tad exspensive, but I don't want her to hate me. If she gets uncomfortable i'll just take the car next time.

I've had several Corbins, but the Gsxr passenger perch looks like a vinyl enema by design, and Corbin can only do so much to improve it.

Also take a look at where the passenger pegs are located. Very high and close to the seat. She will not like you very long.
