The bike shop I work at has some Alpinestars jackets I've been looking at, the T-Stunt (not T-Stunt 2) specifically. Is there anyone here that has worn this, or other textile jackets, and can comment on how warm they are with the "warm" liner in them? Obviously I can just put the damn thing on and walk outside, but that doesn't have the same impact as 70 MPH does.

I wear a textile with a liner and it is warm. I normally have a long sleeve shirt and and undershirt under the jacket and liner. Also I have a windscreen so the wind isn't hitting me directly. I rode yesterday with that setup and it was around 30*F.

Rode yesterday in about 30 degree weather in my Olympia jacket. With the liner in and a sweatshirt underneath I was a little chilly, but at 70+ mph that was to be expected. I think it does a very good job.

If you dress in layers, anything can be warmer than it was designed for.
