London Motorsport Show this week December 9-10
Wednesday, December 6, 2006 - Auto Industry UK - autoindustry.co.uk
The UK’s London Motorsport Show takes place this week on December 9-10 at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London’s Docklands.
The show, which began in 2002 as the London Kart Show now includes exhibitors involved in rallying, touring car racing and single seater racing series as well as new motorcycle racing element.
London Motorsport Show organiser Phillip Bunn said, “With the growing interest in motorsport, there needed to be a show that could educate the enthusiasts interested in how to go about participating in such an exhilarating sport. If we can encourage any of our visitors to start racing competitively, we are helping to create the future of British motorsport and potentially may find ourselves the next Nigel Mansell or Damon Hill.”
The weekend will also feature free workshops offering mechanical advice, racing tips, media awareness and more from racing professionals and organisations such as the Motorsport Association and the Association of British Kart Clubs.
