Two wheelers across the Islands are being invited to take part in a new special holiday event to get toys to kids. The new 96.5 CAYROCK and Cayman Hog Riders have joined forces to introducing a new Christmas tradition to the country with the ‘Motorcycle Toy Run,’ which kicks off in the morning of Sunday, 17 December.
In the new Christmas event, bikers will drive from Boatswain’s Beach to Rum Point in formation with a police escort.
“I loved being part of motorcycle runs for various charities back in Philadelphia, and it’s fantastic that Cayman Hog Riders came to 96.5 CAYROCK to get this thing off the ground, and the Good Lord willing, we can get a whole bunch of toys for the kids of Cayman,” said Program Director/Morning Show Host Ben Maxwell.
Cycle and scooter owners who would like to participate are asked to pre-register for the ride by visiting www.cayrock.ky or calling Guy at Cayman Hog Riders at 943-8699. Non-riders are encouraged to drop off unwrapped toys at Cayman Hog Riders in downtown George Town or at 96.5 CAYROCK studios in the 2nd floor of the Mirco Centre. All toys will be wrapped and delivered to the children of Cayman.
