Bikers to play Santa for people with special needs
Tuesday, December 19, 2006 - The Bucan Observer - buchanie.co.uk
A GROUP of leather-clad bikers played Santa Claus this Christmas when they delivered presents (on their motorcycles) to people with special needs in Aberdeenshire.
This is the second time that Nigel and his group from NGS Motorcycle Training has given his time so generously during the holidays. At Easter 45 bikers drove round the services of leading learning disabilities charity Cornerstone Community Care delivering chocolate eggs to the people the charity supports.
When asked what made him decide to do this Nigel replied: "I like to give. I like to do more than say I care about people who are disadvantaged in the community. I am passionate about motorcycles so why not do something for our local service users."
Nigel continued: "I have done the Easter egg run which was brilliant! We made so many people smile that day - it was great!"
Nigel did his Santa run on December 17 starting at 10am.
