thanks for the welcome, I will post my Shadow soon but wanted to tell the newbies about this great learner bike. It is a custom little 50 cc crusier tank. Got it off the internet. Here in las vegas you don't need a license , other than your vehicle license and no insurance or registration to ride it on the streets at this time. since I ride alone and practice alone this is the best bike I invested in. If it were not for her I probably would still be a want to be rider. I ride my shadow now and love her and am still practicing on her.

I just went to Vegas for the first time during the Thanksgiving week this year. Pretty cool, but I was more amazed at all the riders out on the street... you guys love your motorcycles thats for sure. Plenty of riders out there! Although, I do like riding alone more myself. Im slowly warming up to group riding.
Koss: yea well the weather is pretty much good all year round. A month or so of really getting a bit cold for us whimps to ride lol but the thing that we don't like are when the big winds come up. Don't have much experience in that yet. No, I don't ride with a group yet. I am still practicing. ( on my own) I will get my license this year in a few months. I just don't like schools much and don't do testing well. I will do it again this time have my glasses with me so I can see lol I lost a lens out of them last time and I could not see to ride lol
But on my just below 50 cc crusier I don't need a license so It is cool for me to practice on my own. grins
I really dont know anyone yet I would like to ride with. DH , is not a safe or common sense rider or very experienced. Neighbor is good rider but he is horrible to ride with. lol Just all of a sudden will take a left turn and such out of the blue. lol
Alone is best for me.
Like me, just keep riding and having fun it a all come to us with lots of riding time.
Vegas is too big a tourist town for me to enjoy.

Enjoy the forums. You'll find plenty of help here and maybe even find someone to ride with....we're a big community, so you never know.
Keep up the good work with your practicing.
Have you read any books such as Proficient Motorcycling? It can be a valuable resource since you aren't taking classes.
