Hi all
On Jan 1st there is the annual Rainbows Hospice Brass Monkey run, it departs from the Victoria pub in Coalville Leicestershire at 10.45 & goes to Quorn station where you can join a steam train for a 1 hour journey, then they will wind there way back to the pub, the train ride costs £10.00 payable at the station, there is usually entertainment at the pub when we get back
For more info google for Victoria bikers pub, Coalville

Stunningly the Vic's site hasn't been updated on the Brass Monkey Run yet. Did have the details of where the runs from Leicester, Nottingham and Burton/Derby were leaving.
The only one I know for sure is Shires Motorcycle Training on Blackbird Road Leicester.
I'll be there. I should think there is a fair chance XJR_John, Dunkanmortis, Keyoke and MissC667 will be in attendance too.

I would have thought they will be leaving the Shires around 09.30 - 10.00, so as to ensure arriving with a few minutes to spare ready for the ride out
See you there, I'll be on a GPz900, green & OriginalAnimal on the plate

Don't know about the others but I should be there. Only going to the Vic though not doing the actually run itself.
(Kal - give me a call about this)

Jules is coming with me so all being well there should be a big red trike with L plates there.

Had a text from Keyoke last night, he is up for it. If I haven't heard from you I'll give you a ring Saturday evening after I surface!

Why the trike? The CB will carry 2 quite happily....(or is there something I should know!!!)

CB is very happy. Had the chain adjusted an lubed this morning.
Mind you I am a little concerned that it is very slack in places and quite tight in others. Do I need to replace the chain?
Trike is mostly because Jules will be pillion. I've only had 'Lex pillion on the CB and Jules isn't the most confident person in the known world at the best of times.
Besides it'll just be nice to put some mileage on the Trike, since I discovered I am not licenced for it it's hardly moved poor thing.

I'll have a look - can't remember when it was last done, know it's been a while though.
Who's 'Lex?
Forgot you were legal with Jules on the back and L-plates.
It was off for a reason, it's back on now.

We missed the ride out from Shires due to some last minute hassle with the Trike so we went direct from ours as soon as I had it running.
