Hey fellas I've been lurking for sometime and have finally decided to post. I'm a new rider and have just received my first bike. Check it out:

My dad is unable to ride motorcycles anymore, so he gave it to me. Tell me what you think.

Also, I will be putting front braking system on.[/img]

VERY nice. A little big for a beginner, so make sure you get the BRC under your belt before attempting it.

Nice ride,
it's too bad your dad can't ride anymore but very generous of him to pass it down.
Cheers
Rob

I've ridden it a couple of times. Definitely different than my dirtbike! The reason it does not have front brakes right now is because back in the day it was the "in" thing to do, not have front brakes that is, or so I'm told. Yes it probably is big for a beginner.

A lot of custom-type bikes are going with no a front brake setup. As qwerty mentioned in my brakes post, a big fat rear tire can do thetrick for a lot of cruisers.

Seeing as how I'm open to the idea of making crazy brake designs, just make sure you can stop safely!

My dirttrackers had no brakes. Didn't use them during a race, so spools on both ends.
