Chattanooga area riders?

#1 Unread post by vampyre »

Is there any riders out there in the Chattanooga, TN area? I am new to riding, and having a blast. Looking for others to cruise with.

well, I'm a little north of atlanta, so it's relatively close (3 hours). Once I get around to starting my bike again, we could meet halfway or something.

Sorry, I have not lived in Nashville for a while. In Centrasl-ish NC now, near Raleigh.

If you can get to the Blue Ridge Pkwy, it is a fun place to ride - cruiser or sport. Deal's Gap can be fun, since there are tons of riders there, but it is not the greatest road. 318 turns in 11 miles, or something like that. The guys who ride it every weekend really tear the thing up (speed-wise), but I don't think I broke 50mph, and never got past 3rd gear :-)

The Parkway is a lot more fun, but so are the mountains in general. I may make a trip to Pigeon Forge in the summer.
